Burma Bible College
Reaching Myanmar through Spirit-empowered education and training.
54 Million People seeking the life transforming power of Jesus Christ
Myanmar is in the heart of Southeast Asia and presents an incredible opportunity for ministry and outreach. Bordered by Bangladesh, India, China, Laos, and Thailand, its central location makes it a strategic gateway for sharing the Gospel across the region. The challenge is significant. With 88% of the population being Buddhist and less than 6% Christian, the need for trained pastors, ministers, and evangelists is immense.
For decades, Myanmar has faced economic challenges, military rule, and civil unrest that have left the country devastated. Agriculture, forestry, and fishing remain the primary industries, yet many people struggle to make ends meet. Burma Bible College sees this as an opportunity for hope and transformation.
Global University's Role in Equipping Christian Leaders
Global University is actively working to change Myanmar’s spiritual landscape by offering ministry training in the heart of the Buddhist world. The University’s program serves Myanmar Assemblies of God and includes 34 undergraduate courses in the Burmese language. This commitment to offering education in the local language ensures that future ministers can fully engage with their coursework and be prepared to reach their communities in impactful ways.
Through Global University’s Kingdom Builders Project, scholarships are available for students in economically challenged regions like Myanmar. These scholarships allow students who couldn’t afford education to receive high-quality accredited ministerial training.
The training these pastors receive is a catalyst for change in Myanmar and Southeast Asia. By empowering believers with the knowledge and tools they need for ministry, Global University is equipping them to transform lives and spread the message of Christ. Myanmar’s future can look very different with a strong, well-trained Christian presence. As these graduates step into ministry roles, they will serve as leaders in their communities, offering hope, healing, and the message of Jesus to those living in spiritual darkness.
Burma Bible College and Global University are creating pathways for Myanmar’s Christian leaders to rise and bring about change. As the project continues to grow, it will enable even more students to pursue their calling, helping to spread the Gospel and make a lasting impact in their nation.
