Part of what makes Global such an amazing place is its students. We are a network of thousands focused on winning the lost and training the found all over the world. Oftentimes, we don’t get to hear about the impact our alumni and students are making all over the world. Every once in a while, though, we hear a story that we want to share with the world.
Meet Duane Goodling. Duane is an undergraduate student at Global and recently traveled with a group called “Think Missions” to a missionary training conference in Gibara, Cuba. The purpose of the trip was two-fold: to hold a training conference for Cuban missionaries and also to plant new churches. The missionaries met with our church members and leaders who felt called by God to plant a new church.
While there, they taught a total of 16 one-hour sessions to 96 total students! They were also able to provide Bibles to the students. Below are some pictures from his trip.
