Current Openings:

Application Developer

Global University has an opening in the Information Technology Department for a full-time Application Developer. Hours are between 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The basic function of this position is to provide assistance in all areas of application development, which includes design, development, and testing. 

Qualities we need you to have:

  1. Working knowledge in web application development and related technologies, such as RESTful web services, JavaScript, JSON, HTML, CSS.
  2. Ability to learn a new development platform and adapt to change.
  3. Strong desire to take on work in all skill-sets within a scrum team environment.
  4. Demonstrated ability to do detailed, accurate, and meticulous work.
  5. Ability to work with limited direction while being highly productive.
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills.

Admissions Officer

Global University has an opening in the Admissions and Records Department for a full-time (40 hours per week) Admissions Officer. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The basic function of this position is to process applications, issue transcripts, and maintain student and school records. This includes verifying the accuracy of the physical and electronic records, noting corrections that need to be made, and scanning documents into PDF format.

Qualities we need you to have:

  1. Meet the normal qualifications for Global University employment.
  2. Have excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  3. Have strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  4. Have attention to detail.
  5. Have prior clerical experience.

Additionally, we prefer someone that:

  1. Has an associate or bachelor’s degree.
  2. Is proficient in Mircosoft products, especially Word and Outlook. 
  3. Has experience with database systems.
  4. Has excellent record-keeping skills.

Bilingual Digital Publishing Editor

Global University has an opening in the University Materials Development Department for a full-time (40 hours per week) Bilingual Digital Publishing Editor.  Hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and flexible, Monday through Friday.

The basic function of this position is to review, edit, revise, and prep for print and electronic distribution, English and Spanish materials for Global University.

Applicants must have:

  1.  

    1. Bible training (highly recommended).
    2. strong written and spoken English, and Spanish language skills.
    3. proofreading and editing skills.
    4. ability to work with details.
    5. professional experience or college work with Adobe Creative Cloud software products.
    6. ability to concentrate for sustained reading.
    7. self-motivation and dependability.

Administrative Assistant to the President (Temporary)

Global University has an opening in the Executive department for a temporary Administrative Assistant to the President.  Working hours are between the hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

The basic function of this position is to facilitate the duties of the President’s Office. Many emails must be sent and many phone calls must be made, constituents must be favorably welcomed, and attention must be given to the overall public perception of the University.

Applicants must have:

  1.  

    1. the ability to be flexible and adjust to situations that arise.
    2. a working knowledge in office etiquette in dealing with employees, denominational executives, foreign visitors, and other educational entities.
    3. strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    4. strong written, verbal, and telephone skills.
    5. the ability to work with minimum supervision.
