U.S. Student Services Representative

Global University has an opening in the U.S. Student Services department of the Academic Affairs division for a full-time (40 hours per week) U.S. Student Services Representative position.  Hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday and Wednesday through Friday with Tuesday being 7:30am-5:00pm.

The basic function of this position is processing orders for courses, record keeping, initiating and updating transcripts, preparing certificates of completion, and other activities which relate to the educational needs of Global students.

Applicants must have:

    1. Adeptness at complete, accurate and precise ordering and record keeping
    2. A disposition for handling pressure points of heavy work-load periods
    3. strong, positive telephone skills
    4. Proficient language skills in English (Spanish also preferred) for reading, writing, and speaking
    5. Self-motivation and dependability

U.S. Student Services Representative (Bilingual)

Global University has an opening in the U.S. Student Services department of the Academic Affairs division for a full-time (40 hours per week) U.S. Student Services Representative position.  Hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday and Wednesday through Friday with Tuesday being 7:30am-5:00pm.

Admissions Officer

Global University has an opening in the Admissions and Records department for a full-time (40 hours per week) Admissions Officer. Working hours are between the hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

The basic function of this position is to process applications for admission and requests for Global University transcripts, receive incoming transcripts from other schools, advise Berean students on program requirements, monitor student academic progress, and maintain student and school records. In addition to the normal qualifications for Global University employment, the applicant must have: 

    1. Prior clerical experience is required; an associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
    2. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook; experience with database systems preferred
    3. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
    4. Excellent record-keeping skills and attention to detail

Donor Relations Coordinator

Global University has an opening in the University Relations Department for a full-time Donor Relations Coordinator. Hours are between 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.The basic function of this position is to manage the administrative tasks of the donor relations office, leading to increased connectivity to donors. A chief aspect will be to maintain flexibility according to what is most needed at any given time.

Applicants must:

    1. Be able to work independently
    2. Be detail oriented
    3. Be knowledgeable about donors and the importance of relationships with donors
    4. Have a demonstrated ability to do detailed, accurate, and meticulous work
    5. Have flexibility and strong organizational skills

Administrative Assistant to the President

Global University has an opening in the Executive department for a full-time Administrative Assistant to the President. Working hours are between the hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.The basic function of this position is to facilitate the duties of the President’s Office. Numerous emails must be sent and many phone calls must be made, constituents must be favorably welcomed, and attention must be given to the overall public perception of the University.

Applicants must:

    1. Have administrative experience
    2. Have strong written, verbal, and telephone skills
    3. Have strong organization skills/detail oriented
    4. Have excellent interpersonal communication skills while exercising diplomacy at all times
    5. Have computer literacy
    6. Have the ability to work with minimum supervision

Administrative Assistant to the Provost/Faculty Coordinator

Global University has an opening in the Academic Affairs department for a full-time Administrative Assistant to the Provost/Faculty Coordinator. Working hours are between the hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The basic function of this position is to assist the Provost in the management and organization of the Academic Affairs Division of Global University, including office organization, creation of documents and reports, preparation of committee agendas, the onboarding of faculty, and filing of minutes and reports.

Applicants must:

    1. Have a Bachelor’s degree in education, English, Business, or other generally applicable area
    2. Have ability to maintain confidentiality while retaining good will among staff members
    3. Have strong inter-personal relationship skills
    4. Have strong written, verbal, and telephone skills
    5. have computer literacy: familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Faculty Program, DESI, Adobe Acrobat, and MS Office Visio
