Amplify your impact with Global University by offering a matching gift! A matching gift effectively doubles the support for equipping global leaders. This powerful tool inspires others to give, knowing their contributions will be matched, and significantly expands our reach. If you’re interested in exploring a matching gift opportunity, please contact your Human Resources department for more details.
Gifts of appreciated stocks, bonds or other securities provide more significant tax benefits than an equivalent gift of cash, especially if you’ve held the appreciated assets for more than a year.
For more information or to make a gift of stock or other appreciated securities, contact your investment broker or email advancement@globaluniversity.edu.
Planned giving is a meaningful way to support Global University’s mission while potentially providing financial benefits for you and your family. By including Global University in your estate plans, will, or trust, you can help share the Gospel and equip leaders worldwide for generations to come.
We encourage you to consult with your financial advisor or tax consultant to explore the best options for your situation. Your legacy can make an eternal impact.
If you are at least 70 ½ years old, you may also give through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from an IRA plan.
You can give up to $100,000 annually as a QCD.
This gift will be excluded from your federal income, and if you have a required minimum distribution, it will count there too.
If you are not yet 70½ but are at least 59½, you can make a taxable distribution from your plan to make a deductible gift. Even though this distribution is taxable, it may help you save on taxes by reducing the value of your account and the amount of taxable required minimum distributions in the future.
Your tax and financial advisors can help you confirm which of these options are best for you.
To expand the reach of our global ministry, Global University will collaborate with corporations, foundations, and institutions. We are dedicated to establishing partnerships that prioritize the advancement of our mission: to equip individuals for Christian service and leadership across the globe.
