Serve and Teach in a Local Church

The Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education is designed to provide the student with the knowledge and skills necessary to serve in the teaching ministry of the local church. While NOT a teacher certification program, the successful completion of this curriculum will allow students to interpret the Bible properly, demonstrate a working knowledge of the history and application of Christian theology, preach and teach the gospel in a local cultural setting, conduct programs in their local churches that will facilitate the ongoing vitality of the Christian faith, teach courses in schools and/or administer programs in education, and pursue advanced academic studies.
